Before making a final decision about size, please take a moment to measure your dog's neck, using a cloth measuring tape, or a string, and then measuring the string with a ruler or yardstick. Collar size for this line of collars is the length measured around your dog's neck, leaving a little room for your dog to feel comfortable. If the meaurement falls at the edge of two sizes, use the larger size, as the length can be shortened using the sizing slide.This will greatly reduce the likelihood of exchange, which just wrecks everyone's day!  : )
