This is a terrific padded lead in black drum-dyed leather with hand-finished edges. Made with two layers of 1/4"-thick leather and nickel plated swivel bolt snap.The inner layer of soft leather is rolled on the outside edges for a polished look, and the leather on the upper portion of the lead is supple, yet sturdy to last a long time. The extra layer of soft leather on the handle makes it easier on the hands.
 
The stitching and finishing of the tucked ends of this lead are just a grade higher than the everyday padded lead--more attention to detail makes this a better overall product, for a few dollars more. So when you don't quite need the superior quality of a Mendota lead but want something just a little more finished than our everyday version, give this great lead a try!
