This is a great cat toy! My senior cat turned into a kitten when he got in the mood to play with the Turbo Scratcher. It comes with a bag of catnip, and I would sprinkle a little on the scratch pad and away he went! The scratch pad also became his favorite scratcher, allowing our poor laundry hamper to live another day. I think my favorite part about this toy was not having to go find a ball that had skittered under the washing machine!
 
The toy is 16" in diameter and about 1-1/2" tall. Easy to stow when not in use, or you can put it under an end table or other furniture to keep it handy for play, but out of the way. It's a great way to exercise a cat. The Turbo Scratcher comes in a few colors, and our supplier will choose the color. (I think most of them are dark teal or fuchsia.)
 
You can also get a pack of two replacement scratch pads while you're at it, for when the first one finally wears out.
